St. John’s Wort is the herb for nerve-sensitive, tender skin that needs something deeper than surface-level soothing — sometimes called “arnica for the nerves.”
Its hypericin content gives the oil its distinctive deep red colour and is associated with soothing tender, nerve-sensitive skin, bruising, and muscle aches. Traditionally used for sunburned skin, minor skin irritation, and skin that’s tender to the touch. Deeply anti-inflammatory and gently warming. Thoughtfully hand-poured in small batches in Calgary, Alberta, from dual-extracted botanicals steeped in certified organic olive oil.
The Alchemical Elements
- Hypericum perforatum (St. John’s Wort) — dual-extracted aerial parts
- Olea europaea (Certified Organic Olive Oil) — carrier base
Available Sizing: 1 oz bottle
The Ritual
Gently massage onto tender or nerve-sensitive skin anywhere on the body. Smooth onto damp skin after a bath as a warming, grounding treatment. Work a few drops through your hair for a deeply nourishing finish. Best applied in the evening — see sun caution below.
☀️ Sun Caution — Please Read
St. John’s Wort contains hypericin, which increases skin photosensitivity. Do not apply before sun exposure — it can cause severe burns or blistering. Apply in the evening or only to areas that won’t see direct sun. Store in a cool, dark place.
