Sensus Naturae is a folk herbalist maker business rooted in Calgary, Alberta, Canada — built by a mother and son who believe that nature, when honoured with care and intention, has everything our bodies need to thrive.

We are constantly learning. Constantly growing. Constantly listening to what the plants, the seasons, and our community are telling us. Every product we make is a reflection of that ongoing journey — bespoke, small batch, and made with the kind of love that only comes from people who truly care.

In summer we're often at our off-grid garden space — out of cell service, in the dirt, with the plants. We check messages when we're back in range and we always get back to you.

In winter you can find us at our home base in the city, and response times are much more civilized.

Our geodesic dome has a name. It's Bula. She is our garden and growing space — and yes, we actually spend time there. With the plants. Building the relationships that end up in every bottle.

Off-grid living is our small summer way of making a lesser impact on the planet and getting to understand the herbs better. Bula is not a photoshoot location. She's where the work happens.

If it takes us a minute to get back to you, we're probably out there with her. Likely out of cell service. Definitely not ignoring you.

If you're in the area, you're welcome to arrange a visit — bring your tent. Some summers we even Airbnb Bula, so you can stay right there with the garden and the herbs and the whole slow pace of it.
