Bug Off Balm is a delicately fragranced, non-greasy botanical bug repellent that goes on smooth, won’t stain your natural fabrics, and lets the plants do what they’ve always done — protect you. What’s Inside

French Lavandin and Rosemary are double-extracted and slow-infused in olive oil alongside Cloves and Peppermint, then blended with local beeswax into a balm that massages in beautifully and leaves nothing behind but a subtle herbal scent and serious plant protection.

This year’s refined formula is more multipurpose — the lavender-forward blend also soothes and calms skin if something does get through.

Botanicals (double extraction, infused in olive oil): French Lavandin, Rosemary, Cloves, Peppermint
Base: Infused Olive Oil, Local Beeswax
Packaging: 80 g tin — 5 g more than before, same price.
Shelf life: Effective for approximately 6 months, no matter her shape or texture.

How to Use

Apply sparingly to exposed skin and massage in before heading outdoors. Layering is key — not getting enough keep-away? Add another coat. Reapply as needed. Avoid contact with eyes. Safe for most skin types.

Bonus: The Whipped Balm Trick 🌞

If Bug Off melts in the summer heat, don’t panic — she still works. Let her cool and resolidify, or apply as-is. Feeling adventurous? Toss her in your stand mixer and whip her into a luxurious whipped moisturizing bug balm. Once whipped, pipe into a larger container and store in the fridge. Fair warning: whipping after melting can make her a little grainy, so this is a one-time DIY adventure — best enjoyed exactly once.
